On Wednesdays at 18:15 we celebrate the Divine Service alternately in German and English. Please ask Pastor Jensen which language is scheduled for a particular date. A study of the Lutheran Confessions follows at 19:00; ask about language and participation.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would prefer to begin with a conversation in German, contact the pastor. You can ask about the congregation, the liturgy or the faith without making any commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lutheran in teaching and worship<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our congregation belongs to The Lutheran Church\u2014Missouri Synod. We receive the Bible as God\u2019s inspired and inerrant Word and confess the Lutheran teaching set out in the Book of Concord. The centre of our preaching is justification: God forgives sinners freely for Christ\u2019s sake, through faith.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The liturgy gives room to hear Scripture, confess the faith and pray. In the Lord\u2019s Supper we confess Christ\u2019s true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Please speak with Pastor Jensen before receiving Holy Communion.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visiting from a SELK congregation<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LCMS and the Selbst\u00e4ndige Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche (SELK) are in full altar and pulpit fellowship. Members of SELK congregations are welcome to join us for the Divine Service and receive Holy Communion. We welcome you as guests from our sister church, with respect for your ties to your home congregation.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Come and meet us<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our worship address is Karpfenstra\u00dfe 7, 67655 Kaiserslautern.
